The Black Shallot is other knife in the Ken Onion series. It features the Speed-Safe assisted opening system that pops open with a flip of the index release. The recurve blade uses Sandvik 13C26 that has a Tungsten DLC (diamond like carbon) coating. The blade locks using a frame lock, and the handle has the Tungsten DLC coating.
