California Ranger: (Round With Cut Out Star)

The most famous of these was Captain Harry Love, who set out to capture the even more famous bandit, Joaquin Murieta in the 1840's. He returned with a head in a bottle, but it is doubtful that it was the head of Murieta. Roy Bean allegedly served as a California Ranger before he became known as The Law West of the Pecos.
