The Caly3CFP has a high-end laminated ZDP-189 blade steel with buffed carbon fiber handle. ZDP-189 blade steel contains 3% carbon, making it harder, higher on the Rockwell scale and in turn extending the amount of time it stays sharp. The Caly3CFP comes with a PlainEdged that is ground flat for precise cutting. The handle's shape settles the index finger on the underside and thumb naturally above on the jimped (slip resistant) spine so the knife feels like part of the hand with controlled grip and no forward or backward slide while cutting. Ambidextrous deep-pocket-carry tip-up wire clip. Mid-positioned backlock.
