I couldn't believe it, all that hard work and I got ripped off. I thought I was a pretty good judge, but I was proven wrong.

But at least I can warn you and keep you from making the same mistake. We had just finished working a gun show over the weekend, so I went up to the bank to deposit the cash. The bank teller brought me back a $50.00 bill and said that it was counterfeit.

She pointed out the different ways that she could tell and said she would have to reduce the deposit amount. I wanted the bill back so I could show my employees so they wouldn't make the same mistake again, but she said she had to turn it in.

So even though I wasn't the criminal, I was the one that was being punished. Millions of counterfeit bills are in circulation today, and the numbers rise each year, which means your chances of accepting this money goes up each year too.

Detect these bills before you accept them and protect your business and yourself.

How It Works

Mark the bill with a cross or a line in the area which is lightly colored or not printed on.

On a legal bill there will be a clear or light yellow line which may disappear after 15 seconds.

If the bill turns violet, blue, green, brown or black it is a fake.
