Model: CROS1077T New version of Crosman's popular .177 caliber model 1077 using the AirSource tank, the AS1077T, offers up to 400 shots without replacing the tank. The AirSource tank also insures greater consistency over its duration of providing air power to the rifle. AirSource, the new, pre-filled, disposable, 88 gram CO2 tank currently on the market for paintball markers, has now been designed into a series of Crosman air rifles.
According to Crosman airgun product manager, Sonia Stetler, the new model accomplishes a number of goals for the airgunner. AirSource has been a real story in paintball. The larger disposable tank provides immediate, off-the-shelf play, plus more shooting time without visiting a filling station or replacing the tank. For the airgunner, the larger tank does that and more," she said. "AirSource not only allows more shots, up to 400 on one tank, but the accuracy and consistency is greater because of the larger reservoir of CO2. With this new system, you can shoot all day and never run out of air power.
The new AirSource powered AS1077T offers a removable magazine with a 12-shot rotary clip, a rifled steel barrel, 625 feet per second velocity, overall weight of only three pounds 11 ounces and a fiber optic sight with a fully adjustable rear sight. It is convertible from its prior 12 gram powerlet to the new 88 gram AirSource tank with a simple, screw-on conversion kit. The AirSource tank comes with a Neoprene sleeve for a steady, comfortable hand hold on the rifle's forearm.
