The Ripcord has the strength and stability of a fixed blade as well as the ability to open and close the blade.

Kershaw’s Version of an OTF (Out the Front)
The blade slides out the front of the handle, which provides the blade with a secure fixed blade position and the compactability of a folding knife.

Convenient Belt Clip
The belt clip also works as the deployment system for the OTF blade. The knob on the clip works engages and disengages the locking function. When the handle is hanging from the clip, rotate it 90° and slide the handle backward or forward to deploy or retract the blade.

Quality Materials
The Ripcord’s handle is made from lightweight 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handle with Trac-Tec inserts. The blade is Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel with a Tungsten DLC coating.
