Built for the Next Generation of fighting, KA-BAR’s Next Generation has a non-reflective gray powder coating, on the 440 stainless steel. Comes partially serrated and in a hard plastic case. Stainless steel blade resists corrosion and with proper care is appropriate for use in water or wet conditions. There is a three step process in producing these stainless steel blades.

KA-BAR first runs the blades through a 70 ft. conveyor oven that takes approximately one hour to cycle. This model offers a partially serrated edge for fast cutting through rope, branches, or other possible tough cutting problems better suited for a serrated edge.Strong non-slip Kraton G handle.
