Model: K47FB

The M7 Bayonet was used by the U.S. military for the M16 rifle. It was introduced in 1964, when the M16 entered service during the Vietnam War.

Many troops have retained the M7, since the M9 (officially replaced the M7 in 1984) has a reputation for breakage due to a combination of its thin blade and varying quality among the various contractors used.
