Yin and Yang are opposite and complementary forces. Spyderco style that means one kitchen knife has a black ebony wood handle and serrations (Yin) and the other has a blond Birchwood handle with a PlainEdge blade (Yang). The complementing set cover all cutting needs the average kitchen may need. Both knives have handles, which are slim near the blade and expand at the back providing for better grip and manipulation. They are double riveted for solid and tight handle/blade connection and the blade has a 3⁄4 length tang. Blades are double flat ground from heel to tip and hand washing is recommended.
